The position

Junior Software Support Specialist
(Online survey and voting solution)

As our diverse user base grows, we are looking to hire a junior software support specialist to continue to provide the best possible support and user experience for our customers. Working under the supervision of the Product Specialist, the role of the Junior Software Support Specialist will focus on supporting the company’s current growth by participating in support activities related to product development and service delivery.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide bilingual support and product information to clients (primarily online).
  • Help configure/manage client mandates (surveys, votes, special projects).
  • Resolve client issues by prioritizing and investigating errors.
  • Work with product team to provide client feedback.
  • Test software updates and report bugs and technical issues.
  • Maintain bilingual online user guide.
Secondary responsibilities
  • Suggest new software ideas and enhancements to product development team.
  • Provide online training and demos to SimpleSurvey users.
  • Contribute to overall success of company.


  • D.E.C., Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/qualifications in IT, marketing, research, communications, or other fields of study that could bring added value to the role.
  • Experience using SimpleSurvey or other survey software is an asset.
  • Experience in a user support role for a hosted software company.
  • Facility with browser-based software applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Notes, PowerPoint, Planner, Outlook).
  • Quick-learning, service-oriented team player and problem solver.
  • Able to prioritize a varied workload (organized, work well with deadlines).
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, English/French).

Employment conditions

  • Permanent full-time contract requiring 37.5 hours per week.
  • Permanent work-from-home requirement, with main stakeholders in Greater Montreal area (South Shore and Montreal).
