1. Software as a Service (SaaS) by subscription: SimpleSurvey offers a DIY hosted survey software tool that allows you to create, manage, deploy, track, and analyze surveys and forms. Our professional, multilingual, and multi-user software offers many advanced features making it ideal to create and manage online questionnaires for research, marketing studies, online voting, elections, referendums, and other applications requiring secure online data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities.

2. Professional services: complementary to our SaaS platform, we provide our customers with a team of experts dedicated to the implementation, delivery, and support of projects.

THE POSITION

As our diverse user base grows, we are looking to hire a product specialist to enhance the user experience of our online data collection and analysis platform, in addition to managing related client mandates.

Working under the supervision of the Principal Product Specialist, the role of the Product Specialist will mainly consist of supporting the company’s current growth by participating in the management, improvement and support related to the development of products under its direction, as well as the services offered to clients.

Although this position meets specific needs within the company, the aspect of strong growth at SimpleSurvey leads us to consider someone that is open-minded, creative, eager to learn and able to show initiative in dealing with colleagues and assigned tasks. In short, someone with excellent interpersonal skills whose know-how has great potential for development.

RESPONSABILITIES

Product development and improvement
– Suggest new software ideas and enhancements.
– Test software updates and report bugs and technical issues.
– Contribute to the documentation of new features and maintain bilingual online user guide.
– Work with other departments to provide client feedback.
– Contribute to overall success of company.

Delivery of services
– Help answer user support questions. Provide bilingual support and product information to clients (primarily online) in line with our online data collection and analysis software.
– Execute/Manage client mandates.
– Participate in client meetings.
– Resolve client issues by prioritizing and investigating errors.
– Provide online training and demos to SimpleSurvey users.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

– D.E.C. + Experience OR Bachelor’s degree.
– 3 to 5 years experience in a product development or support role (SaaS or other) or an equivalent combination of education/experience/qualifications in computer science, marketing, research, communications or other fields of study that would add value to the position.
– Experience using online survey software tools is an asset.
– Experience in a user support role for a hosted software company is an asset.
– Facility with browser-based software apps.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Notes, PowerPoint, Planner, Outlook).
– Quick-learning, service-oriented team player and problem solver.
– Able to prioritize a varied workload (organized, work well with deadlines).
– Strong communication skills (written, verbal, English/French).
